While traditional facials are helpful in exfoliating and rejuvenating the skin, this facial actually gets to the root of what’s really going on underneath those wrinkles and fine lines. It directly targets the facial muscles by using microcurrent to stimulate and strengthen them. It’s like a workout for your face! Think of it this way: when you want to tighten and tone other muscles in your body, what do you do? That’s right – you work out. You perform exercises that challenge the muscles so that they become stronger and more streamlined.
That’s exactly what the Microcurrent Face Lift Facial does for the muscles in the face. The “exercises” cause the muscles to lift and tighten, bringing them back to a more youthful state. The microcurrent also stimulates the production of elastin and collagen in the skin, which is also essential to making the skin appear younger.
In addition to targeting fine lines and wrinkles, this facial can also help with the after-effects of sun damage, acne, and redness.
The Microcurrent Face Lift Facial is not a one-time treatment, however. It’s performed over a course of 6 sessions, and each treatment builds upon the last. Each individual session, done once per week, will tighten the skin and muscles a little more each week. At the end of 6 weeks, your skin will be as tight as is possible for you.
After that, you come in once a month for a full facial and microcurrent maintenance treatment to maintain the skin’s tightness.
